Quiet place for a coffee and some deli really close to Reading Station. Has a nice view to the outside rush to the station but feels cozy being away from it. Customer service is way better than the other location on Broad Street. Espresso tastes quite good, enjoy!
Defo reccomend the salf beef bagel and the green smoothie. Both super good. I even went back later for a chocolate and strawberry waffle, ALSO SUPER GOOD. Was my first time going, will be back! No good gluten free options as mentioned, only the lemon bar so me and my friend couldn't really eat together.
Always the perfect coffee house to me!! I really like Black Sheep Coffee as it's a great coffee house. This is a unique interior design based on Monopoly! (Has go to Jail decor here haha) They also have some fun touches like Looney Tunes characters and Mario in the bathroom. The playlist is chill and enjoyable and the staff are friendly and provide good service. Overall, I think it's a great spot to grab a cup of coffee and relax.
This place has become my go-to coffee shop when I'm on my way to the station. Their cortado is absolutely to die for as an early morning pick-me-up and is what keeps me coming back - haven't found any other that compares. Service is always accompanied with a smile. Particular shout out today goes to Freya for her warm and friendly Monday morning greeting.

Cool & ambient. Clean with an open space feel, comfy seats, decor and lighting make the coffee shop ideal for a sit down or take out coffee. I had Honey & cardamom latte, with a touch of spice flavoured, heart warming this cold morning. I had the latte last week, was good too! Two gentlemen staff were polite, sociable and showed great customer service skills. I had a lengthy chat with them. Would recommend!
Hungover on a Sunday afternoon, best recovery you could ask for. In this case, a piping hot Salt Beef Bagel to stodge the stomach which was perfect. The server Jack did a smashing job on the smoothie which sealed the deal. A great range of food & drink served friendly and fast. Definitely deserving of the favourite spot.
I’ve always had great experiences at Black Sheep Coffee, but today was unfortunately a big letdown. The whole area behind the counter looked like a bomb had gone off — it was extremely messy and dirty, which is very surprising for a cafe that usually maintains a good standard. Despite having three staff members working, the place looked completely unorganized. For a cafe with this level of customer traffic, two people would usually be more than enough, so it’s hard to understand why things were in such poor condition today. My order was made and just left on the counter without any notice, so by the time I realized it was mine, it was already cold. The blender jug was visibly filthy, like it hadn’t been washed in weeks. There were two ladies working today, and from their attitude, it was clear they weren’t there to offer real service — just to pass the time. It was a really disappointing visit, and honestly, it ruined the positive image I used to have of this place. I truly hope they bring back the kind of professional and caring staff they had before. They need it now more than ever.
